Lovely Lace

Just had my special occasion speech! I did a maid of honor speech, I had a lot of fun doing the speech even though I disappointed my lecturer. Oh well... Life goes on people!

Me hard at work!

For the occasion, I wore one of my favorite dresses. I love the softness of the dress, really suits my maid of honor speech in my opinion.

The bottom half of the dress is made of nude pink lace with silk organza trimming, overlapping each other in a way that reminds me of rose petals.

I also love the details of the bustier, the zipper at the front add a little bit of an edge to the otherwise softer look.

Initially, the dress didn't quite fit me well, I had the straps altered cuz of my abnormally short torso, plus the straps look odd against my flabby arms!

Got this necklace at Forever 21.

Notice my shoes? Its leopard print ankle booties!

Put on my blazer cuz it was freezing!

Make-up for the day, I did something simple, bronze eyeshadow and heavy eyeliner on my upper lids.

Since my upper eye lids are heavy as it is, I kept my lower lash line soft by using eggplant liner. I didn't manage to take pics of my lower lash line. As it was soft, it didn't register on the pictures I've taken!

Hate the shine at the end of the day!
