Mirror, Mirror On the Wall

Dear Readers,

I'd just realized that I rarely blog about my social life. I don't want my blog to end up being too impersonal though, so I decided to blog about bits and pieces of my life every now and then! Bear with me peeps!

Went out with a bunch of my college friends to a karaoke session yesterday after chemistry lab. We went to a new karaoke place near our college, and to the boys despair, the whole entire place is filled with mirrors! Ladies, you know what that means... CAMWHORE!

I'm wearing a black top adorned with hot pink organza paired with a black blazer, denim shorts and black simple wedges (I'm the middle one according to this picture above). Had my hair tied up in a ponytail which is very rare in my case! What do you think of it?

Suit Up!

Hey there lovelies! How's your week? I've been having back to back tests lately. Even though it's the weekends but I'm stuck in my room studying Chemistry and ordering McDonald's takeout.

The only thing that is worth looking forward to this weekend is watching reruns of American Idol. What do you guys think of the current season without Simon Cowell? Personally, I find this season to be quite weak and bland now with Simon gone...

But the talents are still amazing as always! I know it's still early but do you guys have any favorites yet? I really like Thia Megia though! She has such a unique tone to her voice, and she's only 15!

Run Forrest Run

After my finals, went out with a bunch of my college mates for a relaxing night out. First, a Japanese lunch at Sakae Sushi. Next, went to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, amazing by the way. After that, we went for a dinner at Bubba Gump for some southern hospitality, love all the deep-fried dishes and Cajun delicacies! After dinner, we went for a karaoke session! We Malaysians love karaoke! ! ! =)

I wore this cocktail dress which I absolutely love. I adore the zipper trimmings at the bodice and the side pockets, they give the dress a little bit of an edge. With that said, my favorite part of this dress is perhaps the print at the bottom. It reminds me of the forest somehow.

PS. I've gained tons of weight, which you can probably tell from these pictures! *sob*

Charity and My New Banner

Just a quick post here! A few weeks ago, me and my fellow committee members organized a charity event benefiting a local orphanage home.

In total, we raised 5000 bucks! We invited the caretaker to come to our college for a little cheque presentation ceremony. They were so touched by the amount of money that we donated to the orphans. I hope I can give back more to the community in the future!

PS. Hope you like my new banner! ;)

I have a feeling that I'll be sticking to this for a while, its much cleaner than my previous banners.

Another Day at the Mall

Went to the mall today to meet up with my cousin. When I was about to go back to my condo, I bumped into a sale at Forever 21. Couldn't resist, so I went and check it out!

I didn't buy the clothes, I bought a ring instead! I also bought Oxy Oil Control Mask. I had been using it for quite some time now. I think its not bad, I used it in the hopes of clearing the blemish scars on my face. Its description says that it prevents blemishes, lightens blemish mark, and reliefs sun damages. I sure hope that's true!

I got this white satin Victorian blouse from my mom's closet. I love it, it feels so soft against my skin. I wore it with a pair of studded black skinny jeans.

I've been clearing up my schedule so that I can dye my hair. Typical college life, super busy as always. So I still haven't find the time to dye it. I've already bought the dye and everything. This weekend maybe?

Sunday Spree!

Just reached home after a tired day at the mall. I go to the mall every other day to see what kind of jewels I can find. Today, I bumped into a sale in one of my favorite boutiques in Sunway Pyramid. 50% off! Yay! Even though I managed to find something that I like, but none of them seem to fit my size! The clothes on the sales rack are oh-so-tiny! Don't these stores realize that not all of their customers are stick thin?

I really like this black bandage dress with a lacey bodice. Too bad that it doesn't fit me well...

This one looks kinda okay from the front, but from the side... it doesn't fit well...

I bought hair dye! I know I mentioned before how I wanted to wait till semester break to get my hair dyed by a professional. But I couldn't wait any longer as my roots are killing me! F.Y.I. I never dye my hair at home before.

Anywho...

I bought Revlon Colorsilk Luminista in Light Golden Brown. The Luminista line is different from the usual Colorsilk line as it is designed specifically for dark hair. Supposedly, it is ideal for stubborn "hard to dye" dark hair. I'll let you guys know how's the result! Stay tuned to see my new hair color!
