Jennifer had always been an inspiration to me. Unlike most women, Jennifer is in the best shape of her life after getting married and having a baby. Many women struggled with their weight after pregnancy but Miss Hudson proved that a little hard work and motivation can do wonders to one's body.From a size 16 to an amazing size 6, she is the perfect role model for young women everywhere when she said that she feels content with her current body, and that she does not want to lose any more weight.
While some people might penalized Jennifer for falling into the Hollywood bandwagon of "shedding the excess", preferring her old body that had been representing big women throughout the nation, truth is, she is still very much an ambassador for women with curves even after losing weight. I felt that whilst it is important to accept who you are, it is even more important to live a long and healthy life. There are people out there, our loved ones, that are counting on us, to take care of ourselves so that we can take care of others.
This is me, 1 year ago.. And yes, 10kg lighter too. I've been kicking myself lately for not maintaining my used-to-be slimmer body. But after seeing Jennifer's transformation, I am now at peace with my own body. Even though I'm not as slim as I used to, but at least I'm still in the normal weight range, and that's what matters!
